Utility Features of the New RAM 1500

As if the new Ram 1500 wasn’t useful enough, it’s also added a range of utility features to increase the ease with which you haul cargo and access the truck bed.

Four secure anchors allow you to tie down loads in the truck bed with both ease and added stability. They can be adjusted to better accommodate the size of your cargo, increasing the security of placement and reducing breakage. You can also partition cargo loads with an included divider to keep loose items from moving around the truck bed and damaging other cargo.

When your load exceeds the length of the truck bed, the adjustable tailgate allows you to accommodate its greater size while still keeping it securely penned in the bed. A tailgate warning light lets you know when the gate is ajar, and a step flips down to make it easier to climb into the bed.
